it's all about me
I am a Latvian-born visual artist currently based in Vancouver with a BA in Visual Arts and in Film from the University of British Columbia. Through layered color, expressive form and symbolic motifs, my work weaves themes of cultural inheritance, nostalgia, and identity. I primarily work with oil, though I have experimented with a wide array of different artistic expression.
